When you're working on location, you need local service facilities that can keep you in production -- including both routine maintenance and emergency repairs.

For the broadcast and production community, only Sony offers such far-ranging international service capabilities -- because we are dedicated to supporting your feature film, documentary, commercial production or ENG activities in every corner of the earth.
NOTES: Here are a few notes that will help you make best use of our service capabilities.
1. If you know your travel plans in advance, please give the service company three weeks' notice by telephone, fax, or e-mail with information regarding your production crew's name, travel schedule including date, city, hotel, contact telephone number and e-mail address along with a list of the Sony broadcast and production equipment they will be carrying.
2. If you require repair, please notify the Sony Global Service center POC prior to sending equipment. Where there is no local POC, you should contact the Zone Engineering Headquarters; the service team there will assist you with initial inquiries and take appropriate actions. While service levels may vary by location, Sony Global Service network will extend all reasonable effort to provide the best possible repair service for Sony equipment.
3. Urgent requests for overhaul service are accepted on a "best effort" basis.
4. You are requested to pay the local Sony Service Center for all repair costs by local currency or credit card. Requests for reimbursement of warranty related repair expense should be submitted to the equipment's originating sales company along with a copy of the repair invoice.
